How Many Papers Should I Buy? 1/29/12

There will be a one (1) SmartSource, one (1) P&G and two (2) Red Plum inserts this coming week.
**Remember that coupon values are regional and may vary by area!**

How many papers will I get?
Probably about 3.

The Chicago Tribune generally has the most coupons in it. The Pantagraph has the same inserts, but they usually have less coupons in them. If you are in Central, IL know that you take a risk when buying either the Pantagraph or the Chicago Tribune. The Pantagraph notoriously has WAY less coupons and the Tribune usually has a TON of coupons, but some of the inserts tend to be missing sometimes in the papers in Central, IL. I always try to check the inserts to make sure the coupons are in the bag.

How to get cheap papers?
You can pick them up at the Dollar Tree (Pantagraph) Or, if you’re in the Chicagoland area, Menards and several $1 stores sells the Tribune for just $1 and you can pick up the early edition mid-day on Saturday! You can also get the Chicago Tribune (early edition) at County Market on Saturdays…not cheap- just a way to get it early.
*Note: Some local readers have been successful in getting the Tribune DELIVERED to their home!!! I, however, have not had luck with this. You have to live a little further north in the Odell or Dwight area and north.
